How Stun Guns Work!

Stun guns are on of the few weapons that are considered a non-lethal force. Simply put, stun guns work by interupting the electrical signals generated naturally by the body causing confusion and dissoriantation. The stun gun sends an electrical charge through the body that is enough to cause temporary paralysis. Unless used incorrecrectly, a stun guns charge will not permanetly harm or kill someone. Holding a stun gun to the body for a few seconds will also cause muscle spasms leaving the attacker weak for several minutes allowing plenty of time to get away. Like all other self defense weapons, a stun gun should ONLY be used when you feel as if you are in a threatening situation.
